WHAT UNDERRATED THING DO YOU MISS MOST ABOUT PRE-PANDEMIC LIFE?

I miss being able to travel freely and explore the world.

WHAT DOES SELF-CARE MEAN TO YOU?

Self-care means taking care of my mind, body, and spirit. I always check in with myself
and ask what I need whether it’s a bath, a run, or simply dancing or laughing.




WHAT HAVE THE LAST SIX MONTHS TAUGHT YOU ABOUT YOURSELF?

I get a lot more energy from other people than I think I do.


WHAT UNDERRATED THING DO YOU MISS MOST ABOUT PRE-PANDEMIC LIFE?

Before they opened back up, it was the cinemas. Now I miss not having to do the awkward “elbow-bump,
fist-bump, handshake or no contact” negotiation every time you meet someone.
That, and simply singing with a mob of people.

HAS THE PANDEMIC IMPACTED YOUR MENTAL HEALTH? IF SO, WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN DOING TO STAY EMPOWERED, INSPIRED AND MOTIVATED?

I tend to be pretty even-keeled. However, spending less time with other people often gets me stuck in my own head.
I’m a pretty big Jesus guy, so reading about the Good Lord and singing worship music always gets me out of my own head to focus on something bigger than myself. He is perfect for inspiration and motivation too. I’m always down to send up a little prayer.




WHAT HAVE THE LAST SIX MONTHS TAUGHT YOU ABOUT YOURSELF?

These last six months have taught me to be more in-tune with my mind. I've taken the time to evaluate myself for who've I've become and the paths I can take to a better me.


WHAT UNDERRATED THING DO YOU MISS MOST ABOUT PRE-PANDEMIC LIFE?

Prior to this pandemic time people were a lot less anxious in public spaces. I miss that freedom. I am self-conscious every time I cough or sneeze, even when in a public space and I feel a fair few people feel the same.

HAS THE PANDEMIC IMPACTED YOUR MENTAL HEALTH? IF SO, WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN DOING TO STAY EMPOWERED, INSPIRED AND MOTIVATED?

The pandemic has impacted my mental health as I'm sure it has a large census of people. To stay empowered I've taken time to build some more routine into my life, slow down a bit and spend some time with loved ones; educate myself on everything happening in the world and meditating on the thought of the legacy I want to leave. Still got a ways to go, but I'm working on it.
