MARCS INSIGHT TERMS & CONDITIONS

The following terms and conditions apply to Marcs Insight Loyalty Program Australia (Marcs Insight).

Marcs Insight Terms and Conditions set out in this document concern the operation of Marcs Insight, the use of as a consequence of the Marcs Insight loyalty program. Individuals who join Marcs Insight Loyalty Program Australia and/or redeem Rewards agree to be legally bound by the Member Terms and Conditions. The Marcs Insight Terms and Conditions may be modified at any time without prior notification by Marcs in its absolute discretion. Despite anything to the contrary contained in this document, any modification to the Terms and Conditions may be applied to a Member retrospectively. In its absolute discretion, Marcs reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend Marcs Insight Loyalty Program Australia at any time.





EARNING REWARDS


To be eligible for rewards, members must accumulate a total spend of $250 or more on Marcs purchases in Australian stores or online within a 3 month period (the 'season') defined by Marcs. Rewards are issued after the end of the 3 month period. The reward qualification and redemption periods are as follows:

  • Spend $250 between December -– February for a $25 Autumn reward (issued early March)
  • Spend $250 between March – May for a $25 Winter reward (issued early June)
  • Spend $250 between  June – August for a $25 Spring reward (issued early September)
  • Spend $250 between September – November for a $25 Summer reward (issued early December)

  • To be eligible for a $50 reward, members must accumulate a total spend of $500 or more on Marcs purchases in Australian stores or online within a 3 month period (the 'season') defined by Marcs. Rewards are issued after the end of the 3 month period. The reward qualification and redemption periods are as follows:

  • Spend $500 between December -– February for a $50 Autumn reward (issued early March)
  • Spend $500 between March – May for a $50 Winter reward (issued early June)
  • Spend $500 between June – August for a $50 Spring reward (issued early September)
  • Spend $500 between September – November for a $50 Summer reward (issued early December)

  • Online purchases may be subject to different cut off dates for reward qualification. Reward calculations will apply to online purchases only where shipping has been confirmed prior to the cut-off date.

    Purchases made in outlet stores and on The Iconic are not eligible to earn rewards.





    BIRTHDAY REWARDS


  • Members must provide their birthday details (DD/MM/YYYY) prior to their birthday in order to receive the $20 Birthday Reward.
  • Members are eligible for 1 Birthday Reward in any 12 month period and will be notified of their reward via email or occasionally via sms.
  • Birthday Rewards will be issued to eligible members at the beginning of each month to members whose birthday falls in that month.
  • Birthday rewards are held on the Marcs point of Sale system until redeemed or expired. The expiry date will stated on the email or sms. Rewards must be used before this date else they will be forfeited.
  • Birthday Rewards may only be redeemed once, cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, are not transferable, are not redeemable for cash, cannot be redeemed on gift vouchers, postage or alterations, and cannot be redeemed in outlet stores.
  • Your Marcs Insight Birthday Reward can be redeemed online, in Marcs standalone stores and at Marcs within Myer and David Jones stores.
  • To redeem online, sign in, proceed to checkout, on the billing and payment page a pop up will appear with your reward amount, hit GO and your full reward will be deducted from your order. Rewards are non-transferable and may be redeemed once. Your Birthday Reward will expire on the expiry date stated on the email or sms, unless redeemed prior.





  • HOW TO REDEEM REWARDS


    IN STORE OR MARCS IN MYER AND DAVID JONES


    1. Visit your favourite Marcs location. Use our store locator here.
    2. Shop our latest range.
    3. Quote your member number (found on your reward notification email) to a Marcs team member in store and we’ll apply it to your purchase at the register. Please note that earning and redeeming rewards in store is only available at stores within Australia.

    ONLINE


    1. Sign in to your online account.
    2. Go to the checkout after you have finished shopping and you will see your reward on the “Confirm and Pay” page.
    3. Enter your reward amount and click “Go” to apply the reward to your order total.

    REWARD REDEMPTION


  • Rewards are only available for use in the country where the membership was originated i.e. Rewards related to Australian and online memberships can only be redeemed in Marcs stores within Australia, Marcs in Myer and David Jones stores or online at marcs.com.au. Rewards cannot be used on The Iconic.
  • Rewards will expire within 3 months from the date of issue unless redeemed prior.
  • Rewards can be redeemed on any product purchases, excluding gift vouchers.
  • Rewards are held at the Marcs point of Sale system until redeemed, or expired.
  • Rewards may be redeemed once only and subsequent use of a reward may be refused.
  • Marcs will endeavour to contact members via email or SMS to notify of rewards earned or due to expire, yet will not be liable if it does not. Any rewards that are redeemed prior to a notification being received by the member may affect the reward amount. Members must provide a valid email address and/or mobile number to ensure that they receive notifications regarding a reward or reward expiration.
  • Members are entitled to a 30 day exchange or refund period. For the purposes of reward calculations, the value of the refund will be deducted from the Members accumulated spend as at the date the return is made.
  • Members are eligible for free shipping and returns for all online orders over $100 being delivered within Australia and New Zealand. This offer does not apply to delivery to international destinations.
  • Information relating to members will be held in a database and made available to all Marcs stores. By becoming a Member you consent to information being used for communicating, marketing and other purposes relating to the Marcs Insight Loyalty Program as outlined in the Privacy Policy.
  • If an item is unable to be fulfilled from an order and is cancelled, any Rewards redeemed in purchasing that item will be issued as a credit note, valid for 30 days from issue.
  • If an Item is returned because it is faulty or defective, you will receive a refund for the amount paid at the time of purchase. Any Rewards redeemed in purchasing that item will be issued as a credit note, valid for 30 days from issue.
  • If an Item is returned for change of mind you will receive a refund for the amount paid at the time of purchase. Any Rewards redeemed in purchasing that item will be issued as a credit note, valid for 30 days from issue.
  • If an Item is exchanged any Rewards applied at the time of original purchase will be transferred to the new item.
